Example 1 — underdog wins
A ৳200 bet is placed on Team A at decimal odds of 2.50 (fractional 3/2, American +150). If Team A wins, the total return is ৳500 — ৳300 profit plus ৳200 stake back. If Team A loses, ৳200 is gone.
Example 2 — favourite bet
Team B is the favourite at decimal odds of 1.80 (fractional 4/5, American −125). A ৳200 bet on Team B winning returns ৳360 in total — ৳160 profit. American −125 means you need to bet ৳125 to win ৳100.
